Spotlight: Dan Freeman |
 |
|
Dan is a native Floridian. Born and raised
in Palma Ceia, six miles south of Tampa,
Dan only left home to attend FSU where he
graduated in 1969 with an accounting degree.
Soon after college he put his career in gear
and started a family. For a number of years
he worked for small and large national accounting
firms and in 1976 decided to go "solo." It
was just two years after starting his practice
that he joined the Rotary Club of Casselberry,
sponsored by Dave Snyder. The rest is history.
Dan has been an integral part of the club
- President in 1986-1987, Foundation Treasurer
for many years and served on the district
level as District Treasurer under six District
Governors. What motivates him to be be part
of Rotary? Dan says "the reward comes in
the service to the community." He is a proud
father of a son and daughter and just recently
re-married (3 years ago) to his lovely wife
Carolyn.

Ms. Lydia Pisano, immediate past president
of the Orlando Regional Realtor Association
will be our presenter next week. Ms. Pisano,
a Watson Realty broker oversaw an association
that grew leaps and bounds this past year
as the real estate market became very hot
in Orlando. Will it cool off in the near
future? She will have lots to say about that.
