    Jackie and Paul

Jackie is one of six children in her family. Originally from Lynn, Mass., (her family moved here in 1971) she graduated from Bishop Moore H.S. and then from UCF. She now lives in Altamonte Springs with her son Jonathan who is currently attending SCC.

At UCF, Jackie took extensive course work in finance and business classes. This is why after twelve years teaching in Orange County Public Schools, she chose to come back to her early love of numbers. Last year, she joined Ameriprise Financial a strong Fortune 300 company a spinoff of American Express.

Jackie came to know about the Rotary Club of Casselberry when she was introducing herself to businesses in the area of Altamonte Springs. One of those places was Minuteman Press. She noticed the sign Paul had put up for the Entertainment books last year. The rest is history. On December 29, 2004 Jackie was inducted into Rotary.

She is familiar of giving "service above self" - she has been a regular volunteer at St. Mary Magdalen. She also knew about Rotary; her former father-in-law Don Jung is a member of the Winter Park Rotary Club. As soon as she joined, she jumped in with both feet. Jackie has been involved with the preparation of meals at the Coalition for the Homeless, collection of toys and clothes for the Boys & Girls Town, helped at the Casselberry Jazz Festival and now is a member of Vocational Avenue of Service committee.
