    Roberta Weis

The club is not short on northerners. Amongst us is Philadelphian, Roberta Weis who moved into Casselberry twenty-two years ago.

Roberta attended Stockton College in New Jersey and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree. After college, she touts a varied career in the administrative /service fields – Claims adjuster; paralegal; computer service bureau operator, dining room manager and finally banking. Her last career move was just when she moved to Florida starting with Sun Bank. Today, Roberta is V.P. and branch manager for Colonial Bank in Casselberry.

Four years ago, encouraged by her previous banking employer in Casselberry, Roberta sought and joined the Rotary Club of Casselberry after having visited another club. “When I visited Casselberry (the club) I liked the people and the enthusiasm, so I had to join!”

Since the beginning, Roberta rolled-up her service sleeves and went to work. First she became involved in the early stages of Paint Your Heart Out with former member Dinee Erickson, soon was elected to be a member of the board of directors. In 2002- 2003, Roberta served as Secretary of the club during Carlos’ year as President.

On a personal note, Roberta has a sister in Connecticut and recently married John who has four children, thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She considers herself a world traveler saying that “ I have had the opportunity to travel quite a bit throughout Europe, South America, Asia, Middle East and the U.S., and loved coming home most.”

The Holiday Auction - two weeks from today!
    Auctioneer

Have you laughed so hard tears rolled down your cheeks and your belly hurt?

Don't miss the Holiday Auction on January 4.

Unwanted holiday gifts get recycled for a fair price - all proceeds to our Charitable Foundation.

Don't forget...keep a gift and bring it to the meeting and we will have a professional auctioneer provided by club service chair Steve and sell it to your fellow Rotarians at a fair price (tongue-in-cheek).

To keep it honest, club service co-chair Denise will be buying great gifts compliments of the club and thus "seeding" the auction with articles worth their salt.

Invite your friends and family...more, the merrier.
