Frank,
Nancy and Samantha Denis
Frank
Denis was born in the Central American country
of Panama just one mile from the Bridge of
the Americas. This is the bridge which connects
the two land masses separated due to the
construction of The Panama Canal.
He
is one of the many young men from Panama
who came to the United States to study. Frank
received a bachelors of science in industrial
engineering from FIU in 1982. After practicing
his profession for several years, he became
a professional Insurance Agent for State
Farm Insurance Companies in 1988 receiving
his Charter Property and Casualty Underwriter
degree in 2001 from the Insurance Institute
of America.
It
was not long after he started with State
Farm that Frank decided to join the Rotary
Club of Casselberry. His membership goes
back to 1989 when he was invited to the club
by his sponsor Don Bohme. Frank has been
an active volunteer in the Jazz Festival,
Paint Your Heart Out, the concession stands
at the TD Waterhouse, etc. He is also our
official barbeque “meister” at
all our annual picnics. He has also been
Community Avenue of Service chair and served
as club secretary.
Frank
lives with his wife Nancy and three children – Dimitri,
Darius and Samantha in Fern Park. A little
known fact about Frank is his passion for
tae kwon do (Korean art of self defense).
He was part of USA’s team at the 1980
Pan American games. To this date, Frank is
actively involved in the sport. Also, he
is an avid horseback rider and is also a
member of the Casselberry Greyhound runners.
