Education Background?
University of Cincinnati, BBA
Family Background?
I am divorced father of a 17 year old son, soon to graduate high school (go Dawgs), and 18 year old daughter just starting college (go Gators). I have 2 brothers, 3 sisters and both parents all live within 20 miles of each other in Dayton.
Professional Background
Started in college working for a market research firm that did product testing for largest retail maufacturers (such as P&G). Later became sales rep for a company that sold corp. image programs with emphasis on print materials. In 1983 seized an opportunity to sell hospital printing programs in Orlando market which lasted until 1995. Short venture selling welcome center kiosk advertising for hotels. Now have a company, APTCO, that provides printing and promotional marketing solutions.
Why did you choose to join Rotary/Rotary Club of Casselberry?
Started by joining the new Chamber and learned about Rotary from the Chamber members. My sponsor was Carlos. He sent me an invitation which I gladly accepted.
What has been your involvement with Rotary?
I am learning about Rotary by working with Al as he chairs Community Service projects. I also helped Carlos by working on the Casselberry Community Calendar project. I volunteered with Take a Kid fishing & recently for the Coalition for the Homeless.
Anything else pertinent to your background?
I've served on homeowner board as newsletter chairman. Also worked with my church doing a couple houses for Habitat for Humanity.
Editor's Note: Mike "dove in" to help the club in a big way by taking on the completion of the 2006 Community Calendar project which turned out to be a resounding success. He is also our president-elect- nominee to serve as president during 2007-2008.
Essay Contest Winners Visit This Week. ![]()
You cannot miss this week's meeting! It is one of a kind in the entire year.
We will be hosting the children, parents and teachers from English Estates Elementary and Red Bug Elementary. The children will read their winning essays for first, second and third place.
This event was coordinated by the Vocational Avenue of Service committee with Jackie Jung doing the planning and coordinating of the activities associated with the contest.

Wed. January 25: International Folk Festival committee meeting at the Casselberry Police Department Training Room - 7:00 p.m.
- Sat. February 11: District Foundation Dinner at Gaylord Palms - 6:30 p.m.
