Member Spotlight: Kathleen Gilmore ![]()
Kathy was born in Philadelphia PA and attended Lehigh University, Bethlehem graduating with a PA Marketing Degree, Minor in Criminal Justice. She is married to Bob Gregory with three children Carrie, Shannon & Ethan and three stepchildren-Marla, Tammy & Robin.
She states: “I have been in Marketing all my life. First with Kodak for 18 years and then Fujifilm for 8 years.. Some of the accounts I worked with there were, Kmart, Walmart and CVS. I came to Florida from Newtown CT after Bob was transferred to Orlando in 1997.”
In 1998, Kathy started CSM ( Center for Strategic Marketing ) and “have been working with promotional products, corporate casual wear, and event marketing ever since.”
When asked why she chose to join Rotary and the Casselberry Club, Kathy said “Carlos was very persuasive, and once I understood the organization, it was a natural fit. I am also very involved with Greyhound Rescue & Adoptions and Special Olympics Florida.” She is now the Chairperson for the Walk for Sight & Sole for the last five years so community service is a part of her everyday life
On her involvement with the club, Kathy stated: "I think my favorite activity is working with Ben and the group to feed the homeless. It is genuinely a life altering event, and gives you a real appreciation of what's important. I'm the new Membership Person and am looking forward to that."
Unbeknownst to many , Kathy is an eight-year cancer survivor, a grandmother to eight (“We're Italian, we breed well in captivity”) five girls -one of our girls was adopted from China, and two boys.

On Monday at 5 p.m., President Gary conducted a fireside chat for our guests - Vicky Melick and Ivan Mao at the Gulf States Credit Union. Rotarians Al, Ben, Mike, Gil, Hank, Lloyd and Carlos shared information about Rotary.
