Each year the Rotary International President sets goals for each club president to attain during their year. The goals usually focus on the Four Avenues of Service and membership growth.
There is a selection of requirements under each Avenue of Service that a president may choose to complete.
Once a club has completed a requirement under each Avenue of Service plus any other goals for that given year, they are acknowledged for their work. This process is referred to as the Presidential Citation.
This year clubs were expected to increase membership by a net of one. In addition to the membership goal and completing a project from each Avenue of Service, clubs were expected to be active in a public image project.
I am pleased to inform you that Casselberry has qualified for the Presidential Citation. Although the president of a club is recognized for the honor, it is you my fellow members that truly deserve the award. Without your hard work and dedication to the Rotary cause this wouldn’t happen.
Year after year the Rotary Club of Casselberry is recognized as one of the most respected clubs in the District. From our Foundation contributions, to members serving in District positions to the participation in District events and the number and quality of our Club projects.
Be proud.
