    Bob Nettles

"I was born in Akron, Ohio in June of 1945. I have a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Akron, and a masters degree in computer science from Mercer University in Georgia.

My parents lived in Akron most of their lives. They had 8 children. I was the third. My father worked for Goodyear Aircraft Corporation (where they built the blimps). I married my college sweetheart after serving in the US Army during the Viet Nam War period. My wife has been an elementary teacher for over 25 years. We have two adult children and two grandchildren.

Upon graduation from college in 1972 I became a credit union manager for a credit union that served hospital employees. I spent short segments of time managing a multiple doctor medical center and working as the credit manager for a small manufacturing company.

Most of my business experience has been in the credit union software business (30 years). I was a customer service representative for about 5 years and 25 years selling systems thought the USA.

I currently am in my third year as a branch manager for Federal Trust Bank. I was first assigned to the bank's Winter Park office for 2.5 years and now the Casselberry office for half a year.

I joined the Rotary Club in Winter Park (Monday lunch) three years ago when I was managing the Federal Trust Bank's Winter Park office. I transferred to the Casselberry Club in December of last year. My sponsor was Lloyd Weber.

So far I have volunteered to read to an 5th grade class at a Casselberry School and am currently serving on the International Folk Festival committee. I also helped with the "Take A Kid Fishing" event, and I hope to serve the Club in growing the membership over the new few years.

I am a member of Annunciation Catholic Church, and a past Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus' Annunciation Council. I am currently serving as Captain of a Fourth Degree Assembly of the Knights which meets at the Annunciation parish."
