  • The Plot Thickens by President Gary
    The Bears

The Bears at a recent City Hall appearance

The kidnappers left a ransom note at Mechanics Plus last week and it is becoming apparent that these cowards mean harm to our beloved Mickey. Inside their ransom package was Mickey fur and obvious tears from the sheer agony that Mickey is suffering at the hands of his captors. The bear community is up in arms over this latest incident with Mickey’s captors. They have demanded the immediate release of Mickey, unharmed. Prominent bears Gentle Ben, Smokey, Chilly Willy and Mike “Da Bears” Ditka are among a number of bears searching for their comrade

“This cruel and unusual punishment will be met with force” stated President Gary. “I have enlisted the help of the Casselberry Police Department. The Chief of Police and his crack squad of detectives will be at our next meeting interrogating Rotarians that may have ulterior motives in seeing harm come to Mickey.”

A handwriting analyst has been contacted to review the envelopes of the kidnappers and compare it to Rotarian applications and other pieces of handwriting samples from members. A list of the Rotarians present on the day of the meeting is being compared to the list of members who were at a subsequent meeting when another envelope was found on the morning of a meeting at Rolando’s.

The dragnet is beginning to close around the suspects and it will only be a matter of time before they are apprehended
