    Alaqua Country Club--
Governor Micki Kaye in her last official function as the leader of our district gave us an inspirational perspective on what it is to be part of the Family of Rotary.
On July 1st, our new Rotary International theme will be Lead the Way. “Lead the Way -- what an awesome responsibility” stated Micki. She encouraged everyone to be leaders “President Al will need 100% of your support as he leads the way (for our club)."

    Kudos to outgoing president Gary
    Gary and Terri Teramae

    Gary and Terri Teramae
Outgoing president Gary did a terrific job tonight as he summed up his year of our club and thanked his officers and board of directors.
He had everyone "rolling in the ailes" with his notorious puns and surprised everyone by recognizing a well-deserving member, Duane Bailey with the John Cassady Lifetime Achievement Award.
He also acknowledged Bill Allen for his participation in many of the club's projects with the Ray Macchiavetti Hustle Award and named Mike Schaffer the club's Rotarian of the Year.

    Independence Day Celebration next week
    Independence Day

President Al will be presiding his first meeting of the Rotary year 2006-2007 next week on Wednesday, July 5th.
Come and join him as we celebrate our country's birthday with a special reading by Kathleen Cresswell.

The Rotary Casselberry Community Calendar for 2007 is under way.
This is the fifth edition of the calendar which could not have happened without the support the club members.
Contact Mike Schaffer for advertising rate information and any leads on businesses/professionals you feel may want to advertise in the calendar.
