It was a Zoo last week ![]()
Walt Lee examines critter from Sanford's Zoo
Terri Beigel, Community Resource Manager of the Central Florida Zoo gave us a short history of the now well renown attraction starting with the fact that it began behind a firehouse?
Terri's message was "we want to see you at the New Central Florida Zoo." If you are an animal lover and enjoy visiting zoos, a membership of $35 (individual) can gain you admittance to practically all the zoos across the nation.
For membership information call: (407) 323-4450 ext. 100 or e-mail: Membership@centralfloridazoo.org

On the last week of the month between March 26 to March 30 (Monday - Friday), Casselberry club members will be visiting neighboring clubs to "sing the club's praises."
If you have not signed up yet, Gary will be making an announcement and passing around the sign up sheets for the different clubs:

- Wednesday: No meeting
- Thursday: Altamonte Springs

We have an opportunity to "brag" about our upcoming events and much more.
Picnic, Installation Banquet...save the dates We are organizing our annual picnic in conjunction with another Rotary club in the area (maybe two?) to be held on Sunday, April 29 at Secret Lake Park in Casselberry from noon - PM. Mark your calendar.

This banquet will replace our regular meeting. Cocktails at 6 p.m. followed by a sumptuous dinner at 7 p.m.
