  • Rotary Calendar Project 2008 is Underway!
    2005 calendar postcard

The calendar committee for the new 2008 Calendar project met last week after our regular Rotary meeting. In attendance were: Carlos, Elizabeth, Linda, Vicki, Bill, Mike, Bob, and Ivan. Elizabeth was brave enough to head the Calendar Committee (with the unmeasurable support from past committee leaders Carlos and Mike).
For those of you who were unable to attend the committee meeting but would like to be part of this amazing project, please contact Elizabeth at 407-489- 7210.
This is the sixth edition of the calendar which could not have happened without the support the club members. Contact Elizabeth for advertising rate information and any leads on businesses/professionals you feel may want to advertise in the calendar.

New Rotarian (to be) Jenny Kiesel

After Fireside chat last week and a Unanimous decision by the board voting on Monday, We will be welcoming New Member Jenny Kiesel.
Jenny graduated last year from the University of Florida with her Masters in Exercise Physiology. She currently works at Thrive Fitness in Altamonte Springs where she helps clients with lifestyle modifications and strength training. She's excited about joining Rotary to continue her passion for volunteering and helping in the community.

After many many wonderful breakfasts, Maria at Rolondo's will be stepping aside from serving us such good eats.

Please welcome Mrs. Paul from Classic Catering. The price for breakfast will stay the same (whew!)

Member Ernie Glass Shares his experience...
    ernie glass

Ernie Glass was one of about 300 excited Rotarians to attend the District Assembly. After the general assembly, they broke into various workshops, where Ernie and another 30 Rotarians attended the Secretaries workshop, mentored by Larry Rice.
"It was most informative and Larry presented a great deal of information about the duties of the secretary. He also went through access to the Rotary websites and completion of records for the individual clubs on the websites. I was very glad that I was able to participate and hope to use my new found knowledge for the benefit of the Casselberry Club." - Ernie Glass
Thank you Ernie for sharing your experience with those of us who were unable to attend!
