Our speaker tomorrow is a fellow rotarian from the Altamonte Springs Club! She is also serving as an Assistant Governor this year. She is the Medical Trauma Program Director for Kids House.
She along with Paul Finelli, the Director of Outreach & Development will be presenting a project about Kids House.
Kid's House of Seminole is a Children's Advocacy Center in Sanford, Florida. They aid children by providing all necessary services for children who are victims of abuse. They provide a child friendly facility for information gathering and treatment for victims of abuse.

| Calendar Project Deadline is nearing! |

The project has a great leadership team in place with Bill Hufford, Linda Moore and Maria Simmons. The calendar project also has great support with Linda Johnson and Vicki Helmick heading the advertising solicitation, plus Ivan Mao heading calendar distribution. We always can use extra hands in this committee. If any club member is interested in helping please contact anyone in the committee or your president.
Any club member that has participated with an ad the 2007 calendar is encouraged to renew participation for the 2008 calendar now. You should have received your sign-up sheet already. Please contact Linda Johnston or Vicki Helmick to secure your ad.
If you do not want a business ad in the calendar you may still participate by providing a donation recognition block. It can be a message the size of a business card, or a listing on a calendar date (space permitting). Let the community know it's your (or grandchildren's) birthday. (See August 5th in the calendar for a sample idea) Don't delay - get your calendar ad or message in today!
As soon as we get all the renewals in from last calendar's participants, Linda and Vicki need to bring in new ads from the community. Can you help by providing a referral for an ad? Bring your referrals and checks to Linda or Vicki tomorrow!

| International Folk Festival Committee Meeting |

The Rotary International Folk Festival committee will meet next Wednesday, August 8th at 6pm. We will meet in the Casselberry Police station multi-purpose room for approximately 90 minutes. We will review last April's event and plan for the April 5th, 2008 event.

Saturday, August 4 and Saturday, August 18 from 8 am to 12 noon at the Sheraton Downtown Orlando located at 60 South Ivanhoe Boulevard.
